She has proven success shaping public narratives, elevating executive platforms, and managing high-impact campaigns that engage diverse communities. Throughout the span of her career, Cabana has also planned, executed and publicized prominent events for clients during Art Basel, Comic Con, Ignite (Fort Lauderdale) and Miami Swim Week. Adept at aligning messaging across internal teams and external partners to drive visibility, equity, and measurable outcomes for top brands, influencers and celebrities. Over the years, Peacock Public Relations has established relationships with media professionals on a local, national, and international level.
Our beloved Lady Peacock, Susset Cabana, holds a Master’s Degree in Public Relations from the University of Miami, where she developed her expertise in communications and media relations. Prior to her graduate studies, Cabana completed her Bachelor in Business Administration from the same university. In 2012, she worked as an Adjunct Professor alongside the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at the University of Miami’s School of Communications. During the pandemic, Cabana worked in the government sector as a Communications Manager at the City of North Miami. In 2022, she transitioned to the City of North Miami Beach where she worked as the Chief Communications Officer. In this role, she implemented a strategic communications plan for the municipality and worked around the clock during emergencies like hurricanes or building evacuations. These positions allowed her to understand the functions of government, meet elected officials, connect with local organizations, and make a greater impact.
As part of her commitment to giving back to her community, Cabana visits her elementary school year after year to speak to young children about her career journey and she currently serves on the Events Committee for The Underline (a 10-mile linear park in the underutilized space beneath Miami's Metrorail line.)
